Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, mentorship opportunities, and practical tools, She Is Me Academy fosters a safe, supportive environment where young women can develop a strong sense of self-worth and navigate life with confidence.
Founder
Star has always known that her purpose in life is to give back by empowering young women with the wisdom and knowledge that shaped her own journey. From a young age, she benefited from strong mentorship throughout her academic life, and this instilled in her a deep desire to pay it forward. Understanding the importance of guidance and support, she has dedicated herself to mentoring young girls, ensuring they have the tools, confidence, and opportunities to succeed.
Star has served as a mentor in multiple organizations throughout the Washington, D.C. area, using her experience and leadership to inspire and uplift the next generation of young women. Her commitment to mentorship extended to her church, where she led the Young Women’s Ministry as President for over a decade, fostering a community of support, encouragement, and personal growth.
As a natural leader and advocate, she continues her mission of empowerment by continuing to volunteer with various mentor organizations. Through mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, Star is helping shape the future for young women by ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
